Sunday Rewind

For anyone celebrating today, Happy Easter!  I am celebrating with Tim and his family; however I will be celebrating Easter again in May with all the Eastern Orthodox peeps.  The two Easters are so far apart this year!  As my family likes to (over)joke, we’ll just get all our Easter candy on sale.

Anyways, just wanted to share some scenes that have gone undocumented over the past couple of weeks.  It’s hard to keep up!

Rewinding…

–The delicious Cross Fit burger that Lewis’ in Norwood added to their menu:  An eight ounce burger topped with American cheese, roasted garlic, caramelized onions, bacon, and a fried egg served bunless over iceburg lettuce and sliced tomatoes, with a side Gorgonzola and blueberry salad.  We met Tim’s parents and his sister there a couple of weekends ago for dinner.

— Sunday brunch at Sunset Bar & Grill in Allston is UNbelievable.  Entrée along with fruit, home fries, and more.  Plus a complimentary mimosa and a complimentary basket of muffins/pastries.  Slesh and I had a Sunday Funday a few weeks ago — hot yoga class, followed by THIS.

— My group at work had a team-building day back in February.  At the end of the day, we wrapped up by picking names out of a hat and decorating a cookie in honor of the person whose name you drew.  I think I was probably the easiest person in the room to decorate a cookie for.  Would you have decorated it any differently?

— PCDC!  I didn’t forget about you girls!  Meghan was up visiting from DC last weekend, and Erin had a little impromptu PCDC reunion at her apartment.  I’m glad the last-minute plans ended up working out.  We spent the night chatting and catching up, and enjoying tons of snacks/desserts.  Someone took a picture of us, but I can’t track it down, so food pics will have to do.

— Finally, how long does it take you to get ready after a workout?  20 minutes for me.  I think I clean up pretty nicely, no?  I’ll be damned if I spend any longer in front of a mirror.

Now I’m excited to delete these pics off my phone.  🙂

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!  How are you celebrating Easter?  What was the best part of your weekend?

Tomorrow is going to be a great day:  It’s the start of April which hopefully will bring some warmer weather, the first day of my 30 Day April Arms Challenge (today is the last day to sign up if you are participating), and it also starts the first day of Best Body Bootcamp Round 5!  I’m excited.
