Best of F&F in 2013

Time to reflect back on 2013!

Last year, instead of making a laundry list of things to accomplish, I decided to only set one goal for myself. My goal was to find more balance in my life. While I think I have made a lot of progress in this area (I stopped working as group exercise coordinator at the Y, I began saying no to more things, etc.), I know I have a long way to go. We can always be improving, right? That being said, I’m going to carry this personal goal into 2014, and I’ll continue to set smaller goals for myself along the way (shutting down technology earlier, spending at least 30 minutes a day unwinding and for myself, practicing more yoga). You get the idea.

Aside from that, I put together some fun “Best Of F&F” lists to summarize the rest of my year.

Enjoy!

Obviously this is not an all-encompassing list, and there were many fun days and nights spent both in and out, and near and far, but here are the events of the year I found worth recapping.

  1. So fun being reminded of all the different posts you did over the past year. I was super stat-oriented for the first few months of blogging, but lately i’m just trying to let it happen and it feels so much better! I can’t pick a favorite post of yours, but I always like the workouts and “real talk” as I can usually totally relate. I also can’t pick a favorite post of mine last year, but it was really fun going back through the year to see everything I’ve done. Blogging is the best diary!
