Morning! As part of our wellness program at work, we are recognizing the American Heart Association’s heart health month and using it to encourage heart healthy behaviors with a 28 day challenge in February. I thought it would be kind of fun to put together a little mini challenge on F&F this week that had to do with both heart health month AND Valentine’s Day. It is the start of Valentine’s week after all!
I know a lot of you F&F readers are already doing heart healthy things because, well, you rock. But sometimes it’s not fair that you guys get to see everything I do. What about me? I barely get to see the pictures and recaps of what you guys are doing unless you send them my way. That said, this week I want you to share pictures of your workouts, healthy meals, ways you are de-stressing, basically anything that will show me how YOU heart your health.
Make sure you use hashtags #heartmyhealth AND #fitnessandfeta when posting on social media so I can find you. If you aren’t following me on social media yet, make sure to follow my Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages so you can tag me @fitnessandfeta and see what everyone else is doing.
The person with the most shares at the end of the 7 days will win a two-week customized personal training plan from me. And I have lots of new moves up my sleeve. Just saying. Challenge ends on Sunday 2/16 at 11:59 EST. Any questions, let me know. Hope you guys LOVE this.
P.S. One last thought to start your Monday and Valentine’s week on the right foot:
Bahaha. Snapped this in Whole Foods this weekend. I couldn’t help myself. Speaking of Whole Foods, the store has a great double dozen roses deal going on this week – 24 roses for $25. The flowers are also whole trade, which you can read more about here.
I guess that was two more thoughts, huh? Later!
